Integrating Sleep into a Restorative Practice

Participants must have taken the Sleep Prosthodontics course to participate.Hands-on sessions limit attendance to 25 doctors. Front desk, hygienist and dental assistance may attend but will not participate in hands-on sessions. Staff fee $750 for both days. The link between medical/dental health and sleep disturbances continues to broaden with research and application.  This course is designed not only to refine your diagnostic skills and increase your patient-based treatment options, but also expand your vision through the professional development of your team as you integrate dental sleep medicine into your practice.

Special Keynotes: Dr Jose Barrera, triple-boarded in Sleep, ENT and Facial Plastics- will present an interactive discussion on Surgical Options for Apnea and UARS Patients, Differentiating Adult and Pediatric Procedures and The Communicative Link Between Dentist and Physician.

Staff Development- will include presentations and breakout sessions with Question.Answer discussion led by Rouse's RDH, Sleep Coordinator, and Front Desk Manager.

  • Titration of patients with multiple at-home sleep devises- Hands-on
  • Case presentations- learning to read sleep studies
  • Deliver and adjust multiple appliances- Hands-on
  • Flowchart of visits with new sleep patients
  • Maintain or surgically reconstruct airway patients
  • Appliance selection
  • Dealing with maintenance and failure
  • Integrating dentistry with medicine
  • Combining CPAP and MAA
  • Filing insurance and Medicare claims
  • Strategies to incorporate into a restorative practice

Cancellation Policy

Written notification of withdrawal from any course must be received at least 30 days prior to the scheduled course. Cancellations will be accommodated with a onetime only, transfer of tuition and deposit to a future course. Notification of less than 30 days will result in a forfeit of the deposit.

CORE Dentistry reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses as appropriate with advanced notification to participants. In such events, tuition on deposit may be refunded in full or transferred to a future course. In no event shall CORE Dentistry be liable for any cancellation or change penalties assessed by an airline or hotel as a result of course date changes or cancellations.
